In general, for all point-to-point layouts, DX8200A Vac models can substitute the Vdc model

and therefore eliminate the PWR power supply. This requires that the CBX100/CBX500 must

have the correct Power Source jumper setting to accept scanner power for the P.S.

Fieldbus Models

In this case no External Trigger/PS is used and the CBX100/CBX500 only passes power to

the reader. The DX8200A (Ethernet, DeviceNet or Profibus model) is connected to a fieldbus

remote Host. It can be activated by a signal generated by the remote Host or always be

active if working in Automatic operating mode.
